When it comes to luxury homes, these residences offer a wide range of features that are enjoyable to see — and some that aren't. Many luxury homes have secret rooms that you might otherwise miss. Buying a home with such a feature can be exciting, as you'll be able to use this space for a variety of purposes. Sometimes, secret rooms are accessible via a wall panel that slides or swings open. In other cases, a piece of furniture such as a bookshelf will move to the side, allowing passage into the room. Here are some different ways that you can set up your secret room.
Collectibles
Perhaps you're an avid collector of something that you don't necessarily want out on display in the main areas of your luxury home. You likely don't want to keep your collection boxed up, either, so a secret room is the perfect place to display everything. Maybe you're a big game hunter and have a variety of taxidermy trophies, but you know that seeing them would bother some of your frequent visitors. You can set up your secret room to feature this collection, with your guests being none the wiser. Or, if you're someone who collects comic books or something else that might seem out of place in a luxury home, your secret room can be the ideal location.
Valuables
If you're buying a luxury home, you'll likely have many valuable items throughout the dwelling. However, there may be other valuables that you want kept out of sight. You can turn your secret room into a shrine for your valuables, whether you hang some high-value art on the walls or have some jewelry cases that display your high-end jewelry and watches. In this scenario, it's also nice to set up some furniture and perhaps TV in the room so that you can enjoy spending time in the presence of your valuables. This might also be the room in which you keep a safe.

If you and your spouse have a kinky side, you might wish to turn your home's secret room into one for sex. There are plenty of ways that you can decorate this space seductively, based on your preferences. For example, some couples like to have a dancing pole in their home, but don't want it where a visitor could see it — this makes it a perfect addition to your secret room. A sex swing and other couples-oriented furniture can also be ideal for setting up in your sex room, giving you and your spouse a romantic getaway without having to leave your luxury home.
